Families Supporting Families is an inclusive organisation for the WHOLE family of a child with additional needs. We offer peer-to-peer support in a friendly supportive environment, coffee mornings, occasional nights out, educational workshops with guest speakers, and school holiday events for families in the greater Newcastle and Lake Macquarie areas. Parenting a child with special needs presents it’s own joys and challenges, we believe a strong social network and access to relevant information can help along the way.
We value the stories and experiences of our members as we celebrate the uniqueness of our children.

Membership includes invitations to our regular Carer’s Cafe, Carer’s Cafe Plus (educational seminars with a guest speaker), Annual Carer’s Dinner and School Holiday Activities. You will receive emails via our email loop with relevant information for carers and updates on events happening in the local disability community.
*Most of our family events and workshops are free or have minimal fees for members.
